Retraction Notice: Research on the intrusion detection algorithm centered on active learning and rough sets

Intrusion detection system (IDS) acts as an important role in fighting against these malicious network intrusions. In this paper, an effective active learning algorithm is proposed by training the classifier with unlabeled instances with a rough set theory to reduce the size of the training set to reduce the training sample size and training time. As further optimization, a novel rough set theory framework is introduced to further simplify the initial data operation to achieve higher testing efficiency which is known as IDS based Novel Algorithm on RS-SVM (IR2SVM).
