Hero Cyber Quest: Cybersecurity Awareness Training Mobile Application

Cybercrime is a major concern that affects individuals, businesses, and communities. It is a collection of digital crimes such as hacking, scam, phishing, Dark Web, and many more that have been conducted using mobile devices. Defending against these crimes doesn't only require technical skills but also requires knowledge and experience. Based on research, many users are not aware of digital crime and how to be safe, therefore many users always fall victim. Cybercrime leads to a negative impact on society, financially and mentally, damage to reputation, and even physical harm. This project proposes a platform that is designed to teach users cybercrimes via mobile applications. The application allows the users to learn while enjoying. The application consists of games to address the critical need for enhanced cybersecurity awareness. By offering a wide range of learning resources, users benefit from well-structured learning courses, interactive video tutorials and quizzes. This project focuses on scrum development methodology as it ensures the involvement of user during the development to make sure the application is user friendly and easy to navigate. The developed application is meant to spread awareness and teach technical terms of cybersecurity and teaches how to be safe and what are the possible threats that users face while they are engaged with the internet and technology.
