Hasan Saadi Jaber Aljzaere, Dang Phuc Vo, Wolfram Hardt · 2024
This paper presents a novel approach to implementing a drag-and-drop system designer for heterogeneous demonstrators using block-based coding, which allows users to easily design and build complex systems by dragging and dropping pre-defined blocks that represent specific programming concepts. The paper discusses the advantages and drawbacks of block-based coding, the state of the art in the field, and potential solutions and improvements. The proposed system is designed for automotive and drone systems and is scalable and flexible, offering a powerful tool for designing and building complex systems in a user-friendly and intuitive manner. This approach has the potential to revolutionize the way that such systems are developed and deployed, making it accessible to a wide range of users.
