Primary Research on EWIS Identification System

In airworthiness certificate regulation CCAR 25, section 1711 has proposed precise requirements for the design and installation of EWIS identification. By marking all EWIS components, mis-operation in installation, maintenance and customer refit can be avoided. This article mainly discusses about the concrete requirements and adaptable methods of EWIS identification, respectively for wire/cable, harness, terminal devices and wire routing, aiming at providing support and reference for the design of EWIS identification on civil aircraft.
