On the behavior in time of the solutions to total variation flow

Abstract In this paper we study the regularity and the behavior in time of the solutions to the Dirichlet problem for the total variation flow in a bounded domain. We show that the regularity of the initial datum influences the behavior and can produce extinction in finite time and “immediately boundedness of the solutions”.
