Before we create custom characters, scrolling backgrounds, and flying projectiles, we first need to master the fundamental building block for all geometric shapes and patterns: the line.Luckily, Scratch has a specific category of blocks just for drawing.1. Open a new Scratch project.2. Our sprite will act as the paintbrush, so we want it to be invisible as it moves and draws across the screen.(Ignore this entire step if you don't believe me ).Select Sprite1, click on the Costumes tab, select the cat, and then press your backspace key.You should now have a blank costume.3. Go back to the Code tab and click on the Add Extension button (two blocks with a plus sign) in the bottom-left corner of your screen.4. Select Pen.
