Recommendation-based Smart Shopping System

An innovative smart shopping system has been introduced in this work which uses Natural Language Processing technique to make a web-based platform primarily functioning as a dish recommender to the customer while shopping in the smart mart system. This advanced shopping system has features like - authentication, barcode scanning of items, and payment gateway integration which increases the customer’s overall experience by minimizing the time the customer has to wait in queue at the billing counter. The goal of this work is to offer customers dish recommendations based on the items added to the digital cart and also provide navigation assistance for the items within the store. Finally, after successful payment, an invoice is generated and sent to the customer’s email and phone number.
