Research and application of high-precision record-retrieve technology for CNC spinning machines

In CNC spinning machines, record-retrieve is an important technological means. By collecting the mold contour or the rotating wheel running track, the subsequent spinning program is automatically generated to realize the spinning processing of complex curved surface parts. Based on the record-retrieve principle of the spinning machine, a high-precision record-retrieve method is proposed. The high precision electronic template is obtained by collecting and processing the contour data of mandrel. In addition, a high-precision record-retrieve system for CNC spinning machines is developed and used in the spinning process of head parts of CNC powerful spinning machines. The results show that the application of this system can effectively improve the accuracy of spinning processing.
