Self‐Assessment for Software Architects
Michael Bell · 2023
The software architecture self-assessment introduces rudimentary questions that can unveil the level of competencies an individual possesses to fulfill a software architecture role. The self-assessment scoring system consists of four categories, each of which focuses on an assortment of different software architecture skills. They are social intelligence, software architecture practice, leadership and strategy. Partnership pertains to relationships formed between two or more professionals or organizations who work together to achieve common goals. Effective networking can be achieved by a variety of means, such as using computer applications or attending trainings, conferences, and conventions. Soft skills are personal attributes that enable an individual to interact harmoniously with professionals. A software architecture strategy is driven by business imperatives. Problem identification is pursued for discovering and understanding in depth a business or technical problem that needs to be rectified.
