In recent times, we have seen a phenomenal increase in the usage of industrial-grade IoT devices in our day-to-day lives. We can say the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) represents the fourth industrial revolution, with the potential to impact industries on a scale equal to prior advancements such as steam, electrical, and nuclear technologies. IIoT has brought about various advancements in the way industries operate and has significantly changed how data is collected, analyzed, and utilized. However, with the rapid growth of IIoT devices, we have also seen a rise in cyber-attacks and physical attacks targeting IIoT, which are sophisticated enough to exploit vulnerabilities from individual components to the systems level.
