Blind Source Separation based Blind Speed Sidelobe Suppression Method for Radon Fourier Transform

Wenjie Liu, Jiangyun Deng, Zhi Jian Sun · 2024

The Radon Fourier transform (RFT) is widely used in high-speed target detection, which can effectively realize coherent integration (CI) under the condition that the range walk (RW) appears. However, the blind speed sidelobe (BSSL) phenomenon of RFT may cause false alarms and detection loss for multi-target detection. To solve these problems, the BSSL suppression based on blind source separation (BSS) technique is proposed in this paper. This method constructs the RFT response for the target from the position of the RFT main lobe, then the BSS is utilized to process the constructed response and the original RFT results to realize the sidelobe cleaning of the original RFT results. Simulation experiments prove the validity of the proposed method.
