Evaluating Current Infrastructure and Future Directions for Data Warehouses and Big Data through Advancements in MMS
International Research Journal of Modernization in Engineering Technology and Science · 2024
Bits of information kept in a data repository are called metadata.Since metadata is not easily accessible, IT administrators and extract-transform-load developers utilize a variety of techniques, often through the usage of a metadata coordinator, to make the metadata accessible. This provides business decision-makers with valuable information. The metadata includes details about the infrastructure, semantics, procedures and contents of the data warehouse.information is the foundation of both architecture components and OLAP analysis. In the case of big data storage, the architecture includes many kinds of information that are necessary for the proper functioning of architectural components. There is research on management systems, metadata frameworks and the development of data warehouse metadata handling. The evolution of metadata management in data warehouse repositories is reviewed in this study. What is the present data warehouse metadata management system (MMS) infrastructure?
