Security-aware Virtual Network Embedding for Multi-hop Wireless Networks

This paper considers the security problem of embedding virtual networks (VNs) in multi-hop wireless networks consisting of legitimate nodes and malicious eavesdroppers. It analyzes the secure link mapping without knowing the locations of eavesdroppers and the channel state information, and presents a heuristic to find secure paths to map virtual links. Our results show the proposed heuristic outperforms typical and latest wireless VN embedding algorithms in terms of average acceptance ratio and revenue to cost ratio.
