This study aims to explore a blockchain-based method for identifying mahogany, achieving reliable verification of the authenticity of mahogany by combining 3D modeling techniques with the characteristics of blockchain. The experimental design includes steps such as 3D modeling of mahogany, generating textual description information, uploading to the blockchain, creating a unique identifier, producing QR codes, and scanning for verification. Through these steps, users can scan the QR code on the surface of the mahogany to obtain the corresponding 3D model and textual description information, enabling authentication of authenticity. This method enables the traceability of mahogany from the original boards through multiple intermediaries to the final users receiving the respective mahogany boards. The results of this study demonstrate that this method has technical reliability and verification convenience, which is expected to improve the transparency of the mahogany market and consumer trust. Additionally, this innovative approach provides valuable reference for the development of the mahogany industry and the technological applications in other industries. This model of blockchain-based mahogany identification method provides an innovative and secure means of identification for the mahogany market, with significant potential for application and promotion.
