This paper explores real-time data collection by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for IoT networks, emphasizing data freshness. The Age of Information (AoI) is defined as the time elapsed from message generation to UAV acquisition, including data uploading. Our research involves assigning data collection tasks to UAVs, taking into account factors such as density, path planning, AoI, concurrent data collection, and completion time, aiming to achieve real-time data transmission from the source to the target data center. To tackle this challenge, we propose an approach that combines a dynamic programming algorithm with a clustering method to minimize the average Age of Information in IoT networks.
