SCLLCM: A Robust One Dimesional Chaotic Map for Image Encryption Application
Manish Kumar Thukral · 2024
Chaos theory has been widespread in use in various applications like secure communication and chaotic synchronization. A chaotic system is characterized by bounded and unpredictable trajectory, sensitivity to initial condition. In recent times chaotic maps which are class of chaotic systems have gained immense attention of researchers due to its low complexity in hardware implementation. To design image encryption framework chaotic maps are being used predominantly. A newly devised chaotic map named as sine coupled logistic-logarithmic chaotic map (SCLLM) is introduced this research work. The presented map is shown to have better performance based on various performance parameters as compared to traditional maps. The promising results depict the robustness of the presented chaotic map that reflects in chaotic nature of the proposed map through out the range of bifurcation parameter. Such chaotic maps are suitable candidates for framing a secure image encryption framework.
