Cloud transformation has become a pivotal strategy for organizations seeking to leverage the advantages of cloud computing. This process involves migrating IT infrastructure, applications, and data to cloud platforms to enhance scalability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency. However, as organizations embrace cloud technologies, cloud security is a paramount concern. Protecting data and resources in the cloud requires robust identity and access management, encryption, network security, and compliance adherence. Yet, alongside the potential benefits, cloud transformation presents its unique set of challenges. Managing cloud costs, ensuring data migration without disruption, maintaining performance and reliability, and avoiding vendor lock-in are among the challenges organizations must address. This research work highlights the critical importance of striking a balance between cloud transformation and cloud security, while navigating the complex landscape of cloud challenges to ensure a successful and secure cloud journey.
