THE LITERARY TEXT SENSE CREATION

The idea of multiple interpretation model is represented in this article. The functor-semiotic method of the literary text sense creation analysis and interpretation is used for this purpose. The sense components of different types and functors (i.e. words, collocations or sentences with several meanings actualized) are defined as the units of analysis and interpretation on different levels of the text sense. The examples of the actualized sense components and functors are given from the literary text in Russian. The first experiment on the multiple interpretation has been performed using the same text. The experiment results are briefly described in this article. The concept of multiple interpretation is related to Umberto Eco’s concept of the open text.
