The integration of robotics and automation into healthcare systems has received considerable attention in recent years because of their potential to increase efficiency and patient care. Using a cutting-edge robotic platform like the TEMI robot, hospital managers can solve many tasks related to hospital management with ease. It is presented in this chapter that an Application Programming Interface (API) has been developed that can be customized for the TEMI robot and used to streamline the hospital management operations. With the API, it is possible to facilitate seamless communication and interaction between the TEMI robot and the hospital information systems, which enables tasks such as human recognition, patient guidance, navigation through the facility, as well as communication between the robot and the hospital. A comprehensive set of endpoints and functions is included in the proposed API, which allows external applications to control various aspects of the behavior of the TEMI robot through its endpoints and functions. Among the features covered by the system are real-time face mask detection, navigation, appointment management, and data transfer between the electronic health record (EHR) system and the application. To facilitate the integration process and promote interoperability between the TEMI robot and existing hospital infrastructure, the API provides a standardized interface, allowing the integration process to be simplified. There is primary objective of this chapter is to clarify the details of developing a user interface for a healthcare management application, which is the subject of this chapter. The purpose of this application is to streamline various tasks involved in the management of healthcare. Furthermore, a comprehensive competitive analysis and user research were undertaken, focusing on a select group of users. The research conducted has provided crucial information in the ideation process, the first wireframes of the application were based on the research. The resultant application interface design serves as a proposed solution to user challenges within the healthcare domain. The prototype was developed as a real-time product to address the needs of users using programming tools.
