Addressed in this note is the periodic event-triggered impulsive control for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems. For reducing the impulsive control cost, periodic event-triggered (PET) impulsive control strategy is widely used to generate the impulsive instants. However, this strategy is often adopted for linear systems or nonlinear systems with certain nonlinearities For extending the result to nonlinear systems with large uncertainties, a sliding variable-based PET impulsive controller and a PET mechanism are co-designed. Then, a gain scaling technique is introduced to solve the uncertainties in the considered systems. It is proved that all the system states can converge to the origin asymptotically. Finally, an example is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
