Research on Information System Architecture Based on Microservice Architecture

Ruxue Bai, Xueqian Song · 2024

To construct an information system architecture system based on microservice architecture in in a highly distributed and multi-source heterogeneous environment, the goal is to enhance and improve the software ecosystem. This will meet the demands for high availability and concurrency of the information system, as well as effectively allocate and utilize resources according to market and business requirements. The article aims to define and explain the concept of an information system based on microservice architecture, elaborate on the construction methods (including direct construction and microservice-oriented transformation), compare, and analyze mainstream microservice frameworks, construct the information system architecture, function module, and operation mechanism based on microservice architecture. The architectural design of an information system based on microservice involves constructing modules that align with business requirements (capabilities), characteristics of the information system, and environmental considerations. Microservices are selected accordingly with expansion optimization aligned with business functions. The structure consists of display layer, interface layer, service layer data layer and infrastructure layer. Functional modules within this framework include shared microservices, customized/applied microservices and basic microservices.
