In India, annual graduates either pursue further studies abroad or enter the workforce, necessitating the use of critical documents such as transcripts, certificates, and degrees for applications and employment. To combat certificate spoofing, this study proposes a digital certificate system utilizing blockchain technology. The process involves scanning paper certificates into electronic forms and saving them in a database. The hash value of each electronic file is then stored in the blockchain, and a corresponding QR code and inquiry string code are generated and linked to the printed certificate. This system allows clients to verify the authenticity of certificates using a smartphone or a website, thereby enhancing reliability and reducing the risk of loss for various electronic certificates. This study explores the implementation and benefits of blockchain-based digital certificates, improving the security and credibility of academic and professional credentials.
