Cloud computing is a new field that uses the internet to give users on-demand access to a variety of computer resources and services. The framework established in this research project is to maximise the efficiency of security mechanisms deployed in CC settings. Based on a newly invented MH approach known as the reptile search algorithm (RSA), which takes its name from the hunting behaviour of crocodiles, a novel feature selection mechanism has been presented. The RSA improves the performance of the intrusion detection systems (IDSs) framework by picking out just the most important characteristics, or an ideal subset of characteristics, from the functionalities that were recovered by utilising the CNN model. Our study intends to establish a structure for a cloud and fog technology security policy and NSL-KDD dataset is used for the process.
