Equivalent Circuit of an Autotransformer

A simple and compact autotransformer equivalent circuit is derived. As a result of the galvanic connection between the windings, the magnetizing branch consists of two elements connected in series: the magnetizing reactance and the resistance of the common part of the autotransformer winding.
