The integration of information technology in educational institutions has ushered in the era of smart campuses, revolutionizing administrative processes and enhancing the teaching and learning experience. This study proposes an Intelligent Smart Campus Management System (ISCMS) based on a full-time video surveillance platform to optimize campus security and operational efficiency. The comprehensive architecture of the system includes modules for curriculum planning, scheduling, attendance, and grading, facilitated by cloud computing technology. The focus is on implementing novel video enhancement and recognition algorithms within the full-time video surveillance platform to improve visual clarity and accuracy in various application scenarios. Through a simulation analysis conducted over 20 instances, the performance of the proposed ISCMS has been evaluated in comparison to CNNs and SVMs. The results show that the ISCMS consistently achieves high detection accuracy, ranging from 98.19% to 99.38%, outperforming both alternatives in all the instances. This underscores its robustness and reliability in various scenarios, suggesting its potential for practical use in real-world smart campus environments. Further refinement and optimization of the system is essential to ensure its effectiveness and usability in practical deployment, paving the way for the advancement of smart campus management practices.
