In the era of the Internet and artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, biometrics, and digital forensics have become important. Contemporary society, without the expertise of the digital age, would be under attack from more sophisticated forces using cyber-attacks, biometrics, and cyber weapons of every kind imaginable. In this chapter, we will explore the innovations in digital forensics and cybersecurity, focusing specifically on biometrics. We aim to reveal those critical areas of the profession which are expected to have implications. This chapter also considers how new challenges will be dealt with by today&s;s advanced technology and the changing face of online danger: the future lies in biometric systems, cybersecurity, and digital forensics. We analyze the effects of new technologies–blockchain, IoT, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing. The advantages and difficulties of emerging technologies are also considered. In this chapter, cybersecurity trends in the future of digital forensic science are discussed by specifically focusing on biometrics and identifying key areas that will greatly affect the discipline. The rapidly changing technological world and changing Cyberspace make it difficult to avoid the threat of cybercrime. The same questions apply today: What developments might we expect in the future for digital forensics and biometrics? This study considers the future of digital forensics and information security in detail. It suggests the importance of adjusting to the changing cyber-threat environment so as to create a secure digital future. Ultimately, the chapter charted out some lessons in parentheses.
