With the improvement in the intelligent vehicle system, user perceptual experience has emerged as a crucial factor in the design of intelligent vehicle interfaces. This study evaluates guardians' acceptance of vehicle interface technology during family driving outings with preschool children aged 2-5. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework, this study formulated four hypotheses related to the User Emotional Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and the Voice Assistant User Experience Questionnaire (VA). An independent sample T-test was conducted on data from the VA (n=234) and UEQ (n=284) surveys, confirming the four hypotheses. Data analysis reveals significant differences in drivers’ and adult passengers' experiences with the vehicle interface's voice response behavior, quality, and comprehensibility during family driving outings. No significant differences were found between driver and adult passengers in the touch interaction experience of the vehicle interface. Future interface design could benefit from enhanced comfort and efficiency of human-vehicle interactions for adult passengers (i.e., children's guardians), through personalized and nuanced designs that improve their interactive experience.
