Research on Self-calibration Method of Current Comparator based on Reference Winding

A current comparator [CC] self-calibration method is presented in this paper.. It can guarantee that the inaccuracy of every component of the winding stays constant even when the CC is adjusted to a different ratio by winding the secondary winding of CC using a structure known as shielding drainage. The error of the CC ratio from 1:1 to 20:1 can be calculated by combining a reference winding with an auxiliary current transformer and performing a number of measurements and computations.
