Delivering medical supplies in space is challenging due to the unique environment and conditions that space presents. Astronauts who work on space missions may face various health risks, such as exposure to radiation, micro-gravity, and extreme temperatures. Therefore, medical supplies and equipment availability are critical to their health and well-being. This chapter proposes a blockchain-based secure delivery system using drones for medical supplies in outer space. The unique challenges of delivering medical supplies in space are the high cost of transportation and the difficulty of accessing remote locations, which make traditional delivery methods impractical. To address these challenges, the chapter proposes a system that uses blockchain technology for secure and efficient supply chain management and drones for fast and reliable delivery of medical supplies to astronauts. The system employs a decentralized blockchain network that tracks the movement of medical supplies from the manufacturer to the recipient, ensuring transparency and accountability in the supply chain. Using drones for delivery ensures that medical supplies are delivered quickly and safely to their intended destination. The proposed system has the potential to significantly improve the delivery of medical supplies in space and ensure the health and safety of astronauts. Further, the chapter discusses the technical details of the proposed system and evaluates its feasibility and limitations. Our results show that the system effectively provides a secure and efficient supply chain management system and a reliable delivery system for medical supplies in outer space. This chapter contributes to the growing research on using blockchain and drones for medical supply delivery. It presents a novel solution for the unique challenges of delivering medical supplies in outer space.
