The Internet of Things (IoT) conference hosted by the Cybersecurity Innovation Center in 2023 serves as a case study in this article, which seeks to examine revolutionary developments in IoT security. We focus attention on the use of sophisticated algorithms to beef up security in IoT networks. This study, To compares and contrasts three well-known ML models according to their recall metrics SVM, Random Forest, and Logistic Regression. After careful examination of several datasets, we find that SVM achieves the highest recall performance. Drawing on the findings of our research, we support the use of SVM in future security applications for the Internet of Things. This report illuminates developing patterns and offers practical suggestions to strengthen security measures in IoT contexts, adding to the continuing conversation on IoT security.
