This paper presents a study on password patterns among Korean users by analyzing over 39 million breached email and password datasets, focusing particularly on Korean domain data for the first time. While previous research has concentrated on English-speaking users, with some studies exploring Chinese users, our work focused on the password behaviors of Korean users. By comparing these patterns against those observed in Chinese and English datasets, we uncover unique characteristics and differences, contributing significantly to the field of password guessing research. Our findings highlight the necessity of considering language factors in developing more effective password security measures.
