Patient care involves many parties, from doctors and nurses to pharmacies in one hospital. If there is a condition where a patient must be transferred from one hospital to another, then the patient’s medical records will be moved from one hospital to another. The process of moving from one hospital to another has the potential to result in the dissemination of invalid data and information. A system that integrates parties related to patient care in Indonesia is not yet available, which has the potential to cause problems of low validity of data and information distributed between different hospitals. This condition will also have a negative impact on patient health information because there is no efficient mechanism for sharing patient medical record information in real time. So the problem statement of this research is how to model collaboration between medical institutions based on blockchain technology. Research findings show that blockchain technology can increase the transparency and validity of information between medical institutions.. Therefore, the contribution of this research is to build a collaboration model between medical institutions using blockchain technology to improve patient services. This research uses a quantitative approach by conducting a literature review regarding collaboration between medical institutions and blockchain technology. The result of this research is a blockchain model to support collaboration between medical institutions to improve patient services.
