The last decade has seen a significant increase in the frequency and sophistication of cyberattacks. Cybercriminals have developed new and creative strategies to attack people, companies, and governments because of the ongoing advancement of technology and the growing amount of sensitive information exchanged and stored online. As the number and severity of cybersecurity attacks continue to increase, the attackers find new and creative ways to exploit vulnerabilities and steal sensitive information. This chapter presents the emergence of new-age attacks and discusses Ransomware, Fileless Malware, Living-off-the-Land attacks, Deepfake Technologies for Social Engineering and Zero Click Exploits.
