The moon is the first station for deep space exploration. With the increasing interest of various countries and commercial organizations in exploring the moon, the number of nodes on the lunar surface and around the proximity space will continue to increase. However, the traditional CCSDS proximity-1 could no longer meets the needs of efficient communication among all probes. At the same time, the lunar probes have put forward extremely strict requirements for product miniaturization and low power consumption, the overly complex protocol could impose a significant burden on the weight and power consumption of the product. In this paper, the miniaturized flexible communication system compatible with FDD and TDD is presented. It can integrate FDD and TDD communication systems without increasing resources, additional chips and required power consumption, solving the problem of independent design of each system and high resource consumption in traditional protocol implementation methods, and saving a total of 42% slice and 58% RAM. The presented method will provide the next lunar mission with the fully autonomous, high reliability, low weight and low power consumption communication service.
