The demand for the integration of public and private networks has witnessed a significant surge with the continuous and profound advancement of 5G technology and industrial Internet. The present paper offers a comprehensive overview and comparative analysis of contemporary diversion methods that effectively address the security threats and frequent operational issues associated with conventional VPN. The service diversion aims to fulfill the demands of vertical industries for accessing multiple network scenarios simultaneously, yet the current diversion approach is constrained by terminal limitations and roaming routing detour adjustments, which pose certain obstacles to large-scale deployment. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a converged evolutionary architecture of public and private networks, which addresses the above challenges while supporting 4/5G user access and local diversion of public network traffic in roaming scenarios. The proposed scheme is implemented in the existing network and verified that the SLA of users is effectively guaranteed.
