Intelligent Recognition of Teaching Behaviors in Smart Classroom

AI technology applied to the detection and judgement of teaching behavior in smart classroom is a further expansion of its intelligent connotation. Three practical paths based on “visual features, auditory features and platform information flow usage features” were proposed to clarify the relationship between the elements of intelligent analysis of teachers’ teaching behaviors in smart classrooms. The intelligent recognition of teaching behaviors such as teaching posture and teaching interaction is implemented by extracting video frame images; the intelligent recognition of teachers’ speech characteristics, speech speed and logic of statements is implemented by the recognition of teachers’ voice and keywords. The identification of teachers’ online teaching was carried out through the data mining of the smart classroom teaching platform. The research results show that the application of pattern recognition technology can effectively accomplish the intelligent recognition of teachers’ teaching behaviors by using computer equipment, network equipment, video recording and speech pickup and other information extraction devices in smart classrooms.
