Mapping of archiving practices on HAL

This repository contains all the Python scripts and algorithms developed as part of my thesis to map the archiving practices on the HAL platform. The scripts automate the retrieval, processing, and analysis of data from HAL by utilizing the HAL search API to extract deposit records for a given period. The retrieved data is then uploaded to an Elasticsearch instance to facilitate indexing and searching. An auxiliary process also retrieves impact metrics and other characteristics of the deposits.
