Optimizing Privacy and Convenience in the Sharing Economy: A Blockchain and Multi-Agent Framework
Jinyu Zhang, Yumeng Yang, Yisheng Pan, Zilong Zhu · 2023
Given the concerns over data privacy violations in the sharing economy, this paper introduces a framework that combines blockchain with Multi-Agent technology. The framework aims to decentralize data storage, thereby reducing the risks associated with centralized systems. This initiative is particularly timely, considering the vulnerabilities of centralized control systems to cyber-attacks that could lead to widespread data leakage. Within this setting, blockchain ensures data privacy and security for users while permitting only transaction participants to understand the encrypted data. The integration of Multi-Agent technology significantly enhances transaction efficiency. It provides a more robust mechanism for supply-demand alignment and participant matching, which are critical aspects in the sharing economy. A proof-of-concept prototype has been developed to substantiate the decentralized nature of the framework. It shows promising potential to mitigate prevalent issues of data abuse and exposure, thereby paving the way for a more secure and efficient sharing economy.
