Due to the single-photon regime sacrificing signal-to-noise ratio, quantum sensors have been severely limited to practical applications. Here, classically excited superresolution is presented for the new realm of quantum sensors compatible with conventional sensing metrologies based on interferometers and lasers or electromagnetic waves.
