Bluetooth technology has become ubiquitous in modern devices, facilitating wireless communication and connectivity. However, Bluetooth is susceptible to various security vulnerabilities that can be exploited through attacks like Bluesnarfing, Bluesmacking, and car whispering. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of different Bluetooth attacks, examining their mechanisms, procedures, impacts, and limitations. The researchers demonstrate Bluesmacking, Bluesnarfing, and car whispering attacks, elucidating how attackers can deny service, steal data, and secretly record conversations. Comparative analysis categorizes the attacks based on vulnerabilities, severity, and technical limitations. Additionally, a survey of 35 Filipino participants aged 19–58 measured awareness regarding Bluetooth security. Results showed low knowledge of attacks among respondents, despite frequent Bluetooth usage. While most expressed general concern about Bluetooth security, greater awareness is needed to mitigate risks. This paper concludes that continuous research and education on evolving Bluetooth threats is essential to strengthen security and protect users' privacy.
