Count-based Flexible Queries Through RL-Instances

RL systems allow processing fuzzy values, managing graduality in an alternative way based on the Theory of Representation by Levels. In this work we focus on a type of query of special interest in the field of flexible querying, the count-based queries, and show how they can be solved through the use of a RL system based on the recently introduced concept of RL-instance. We show that thanks to our approach, the user can face this type of queries in a conventional relational database management system without having to incorporate a heavy implementation and using a conventional query language such as SQL.
