With the rapid development of computer technology, image processing technology has become an indispensable tool for microstructure analysis. Especially, it plays an important role in improving the visualization quality and analysis accuracy of rock microstructure. In this study, the computer image processing software Avizo 2020.1 was used to perform a series of image processing operations on the collected rock sample WD9-1, including de-noising processing, threshold segmentation, contrast adjustment, watershed algorithm segmentation, etc. Based on this, a three-dimensional model was accurately constructed to comprehensively observe the pore structure of the internal rock, and the required rock attribute data were further extracted and analysed. The research results show the core role of computer image processing technology in the visualization of refined rock microstructure and its analysis, which provides strong technical support for geological exploration and oil and gas field development in actual production, and lays the foundation for the subsequent exploration of rock physical properties.
