Design and Implementation of an Education Management Information System Based on J2EE
Ling Li, Lin Gui · 2024
In order to meet the needs of educational management in vocational colleges and make daily educational management more effective and convenient, the author proposes an education management information system based on J2EE. Integrating the system’s functions from the user’s perspective and dividing the system into teacher end, student end, and administrator end can optimize the internal organization of the system and improve the user experience. In the selection of technical solutions for the system, the author adopts the SSH framework and combines the ideas provided by MVC, Ajax technology, MyEclipse, UML, SOA, workflow and other technologies to design the overall structure and database pattern of the system. In terms of system implementation and testing, the focus is on analyzing and designing how to specifically implement the scheduling algorithm in the teaching operation management module. The findings reveal a robust performance, with no instances of crashing errors detected throughout the testing phase. However, attention was directed towards certain functional points, particularly in the implementation and interface performance, where other errors were concentrated. These issues were successfully addressed and resolved during the testing period. Under optimal network conditions and with a simulated load of fewer than 1200 users, the system exhibited commendable performance. The average response time for a single transaction remained under 1 second, and all transactions were successfully completed. Nevertheless, as the user load increased to 1600, there was a noticeable rise in system transaction response time, leading to transaction failures and a subsequent decline in the success rate. Despite these challenges under higher user loads, the educational management system demonstrated excellent interactivity and, on the whole, successfully achieved its design objectives. It stands poised to meet the diverse requirements of daily educational management.
