Blockchain technology has made its way into people's daily lives in recent years. Blockchain-based cryptocurrencies have the advantages of decentralization, non-tampering, and difficulty in tracing, and they alleviate various problems in the traditional financial sphere. While these intrinsic qualities make detecting illicit activity on the blockchain and locating the mastermind behind the scenes challenging. As a result, detecting anomalies in cryptocurrencies on the blockchain is critical. However, there is currently very little literature on anomaly detection in the financial industry. This paper initially presents the hierarchical nature of blockchain and frequent anomaly financial behaviors, before delving into and comparing existing blockchain anomaly transaction detection methods and address correlation analysis solutions. Finally, this paper outlines the obstacles that current solutions confront as well as prospective development prospects.
