Ethical conundrums and privacy concerns in new innovations

Rahul Joshi · 2024

The present research aims to examine the ethical aspects and challenges associated with developing technologies and proposes viable strategies to address their legal and regulatory concerns. The emergence of new age technologies has resulted in concerns related to cyber security and cyber espionage and, henceforth, it becomes crucial to ensure that ethical and regulatory requirements are met to effectively integrate new technologies. Given the context, the present study examines the ambiguous and contradictory ethical rules that result in potential violations of privacy, ethics, and data that require prompt resolution. The research examines the ways and means of ensuring the ethical and regulatory requirements and how they are met to effectively implement new technologies. The chapter also focuses on the evolution of the Industry 5.0, which is set to revolutionize the digital transformation landscape, enabling mass customization and improved production efficiencies using cutting-edge technologies such as universal machines, self-driving robots, self-healing networks, and cloud data analytics.
