In the pursuit of advancing healthcare technologies, there is a growing demand for more sustainable and efficient methodologies. Optofluidic systems have emerged as promising platforms to manipulate fluids and light simultaneously. Sustainability of production and continuous monitoring in point-of-care diagnostics are becoming increasingly important research areas, where Optofluidic sensors can enable continuous monitoring of fluid samples. We demonstrate a concept of mass-producible and wearable optofluidic assay with reusable electronic components as a sustainable platform that can be combined with flexible electronics. Our concept minimizes waste generation through innovative design and integration of reusable components, thus reducing environmental impact throughout the system's lifecycle.
