Breast Cancer Detection Using Machine Learning in Medical Imaging – A Survey

Breast Cancer (BC) is a significant cause in women and is the leading cause of death worldwide. The analysis and diagnosis of breast cancer using medical imaging analysis is a promising research area that facilitates the decision-making of different diseases. This paper provides advanced research papers that mainly define breast cancer detection (BCD) using machine learning (ML) in medical imaging. The research articles are tabulated with their advantages, disadvantages, machine learning methods, the dataset used in their experiments, and the performance metrics obtained from their experimental results. Some research challenges and future research suggestions in breast cancer detection using ML in medical imaging are discussed. This paper has more potential and is helpful for beginners in this research field.
