The foundation of the cloud computing has created contemporary and compelling opportunities in the world of information and communication technology (ICT) environment. Individuals, small and medium-sized businesses, and large corporations can now lease processing, storage, and network resources on an as-needed basis. Whether it can be the deployment of any service or it can be any software-based services as well as any server-oriented needs or data storage, cloud computing has enormously replaced the conventional system with distributed nature. One of the significant attributes is to serve as a data center with high computational capacity. Reliability and availability are two significant parameters when it comes to the topic of cloud data centers. However, the access of the data center is distributed in a cloud computing nature irrespective of many countries and many networks where the individual network is exclusive and unforeseeable by its characteristics. This is made happen due to advancements in virtualization technologies; precisely the VMs can be considered as the rudimentary element for providing services to the consumers from the data centers. Deployment of cloud VM is very significant for maintaining the quality of the services of cloud data centers. Individual consumers are associated with the individual or several distributed VMs in cloud architecture [ 1 ]. VM abbreviates the ongoing current system and creates an abstract for the users by hiding the complexities of underlying physical hardware details. These VMs can be allocated in a dynamical and statistical way across dispersed cloud data centers infrastructure to improve application performance for paying customers while efficiently utilizing the service provider’s physical resources and alleviating bottlenecks. By focusing to improve the server-side resources, a live VM migration strategy has been used where the researchers must look into the better utilization of the resources and power consumption [ 2 ]. A consolidation technique can be proposed by minimizing the number of network switches, which can be turned on in any stipulated time [ 3 ]. However, the VM allocation affects the traffic dynamics in this regard.
