In this era of IoT and Artificial Intelligence, many electronic and smart devices are connected to other smart devices such as smart AC, washing-machine and smart lights through the Internet. IoT devices can be accessed remotely through our Smartphones or laptops. IoT is an ecosystem of interconnected things that communicate with each other. These smart devices gather, share, and analyze information and perform required actions. IoT network devices need to be secured to avoid misuse. Artificial intelligence-based IDS provide security to these smart devices and their network. This paper provides a detailed insight into an IoT network, trends, and security to this network or smart devices using AI. An artificial intelligence-based machine learning approach with IDS can be used to improve the security of an IoT network. An IoT network security improves by using an IDS created by AI.
