Examples from the real world are used to illustrate how cybersecurity governance ideas are applied in the Global South throughout the chapter. Readers will have a clear understanding of the foundations of cybersecurity governance by the end of the chapter, as well as the crucial elements needed to create strong governance structures, specify cybersecurity roles, create efficient policies, and ensure compliance and risk management in the constantly evolving cybersecurity landscape.
